In addition to pottery classes, we offer science and STEAM classes. Helen Hixon holds a California teaching credential in Science/Biology and has extensive training in teaching STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math). Contact us for additional information.

Spring 2020

Homeschool Classes

*We have simplified schedules & prices for the 2019-2020 school year.

  1. All classes will be held Thursdays.
  2. We have added an afternoon pottery class for older students.
  3. Science, STEAM, ceramic hand-building and glazing classes are $25 each with no additional materials fees.
  4. Order 10 classes (science, STEAM, ceramic hand-building & glazing) and get 10% discount ($225).
  5. Wheel classes are still $55 per class.

Space in each class is limited to allow for more personalized instruction. Please call, email or stop by to reserve your child’s spot and ensure we have received an enrichment certificate. Cancelations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the class start time.  Let us know if you have any special requests for ceramics or science. You may also request an enrichment certificate for any of our regularly scheduled workshops, private lessons and wheel classes. 


January:

July 22-26 Summer Art Camp

9am to 1pm daily

Summer Art Camp for kids 5-12 years of age.


Students will engage in a variety of studio art projects and nature-based activities and art. 

  • Ceramic hand-building, 
  • wheel throwing, 
  • nature plaster molds & clay casting,
  •  fused glass, 
  • ceramic glazing, 
  • spin art, 
  • kaleidoscopes, 
  • FIMO sculpture, 
  • nature prints, 
  • story telling 
  • and much more!
